Who Cares About You And Your Fitness Goals (It’s Not Who You May Think)

When it comes to your health, are you taking care of yourself?

Eating healthy foods?

Smaller portions?

Exercising regularly?

Drinking plenty of water?

Getting enough sleep?

Who Cares?

I’m not trying to be a pain in your butt here by asking.

I’m asking because I care.

I care about you and your health.

Not everyone does (ouch).

Let me explain.

I got a bit (a lot) ticked off recently.

Get this…

An online web dude I follow because of the value he offers when it comes to running an online business decided to offer a fitness solution for entrepreneur’s who want to get their health & fitness in check.

He shared his story about how he was able to go from feeling lousy and not exercising regularly to now exercising effortlessly, eating all the right foods, feeling great, blah, blah, blah.

Good for him.

You’re probably wondering…. why am I being so harsh?

Why did this tick me off?

It ticked me off because I don’t believe for a second he actually gives a hoot about you, your health, or your fitness.

He’s definitely a smart guy when it comes to online business marketing, no question.

He’s also a smart guy in the sense that he knows what sells and what people buy.

Does he truthfully care about you and your health?

Maybe.

Truthfully – I doubt it.

Marketers Don’t Care About Your Fitness Goals

What he cares about is your business, your money, and tapping into one of the biggest revenue generating industries there is today… the health & fitness industry.

Why do I tell you this?

To be aware of the fact that not everyone who appears to be out to help you has your best interests in mind.

They’ll share how they struggled with health and fitness for years.

How they tried and failed, tried and failed.

But now they’re in the best shape of their lives.

They’ve stumbled upon, figured out, identified, whatever… what actually works.

And how you too can now tap into what they’ve discovered and not have to go through what they did to achieve the results they have.

I want the truth!

YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Great movie, but seriously though…

The system, the framework, the plan, program, call it what you will.. that this guy, or me, or anyone else for that matter comes up isn’t what will get you the results you’re after.

That plan is 20% of the equation…. 20% – that’s it.

The remaining 80% that’s necessary and must do the work is YOU.

What Does This Mean?

It means understanding exactly what your goal is.

It means understanding exactly why you want to achieve it.

It means understanding that it’s going to take lots of hard work.

It means understanding you’ll fall off track tons along the way.

It means understanding it’s going to take time, energy ,and effort – lots of it.

It means understanding nothing that’s worth having comes easy, nothing.

If you can think of something that is worth having and comes easy, please hit reply and let me know what it is because I can’t think of anything.

False Expectations

I get ticked off because of false marketing material that sets the expectation that it will be easy and smooth sailing to achieve weight loss, leaning up, getting a flat stomach, whatever the goal.

This is the expectation that is sold.

Then guess what happens?

99.999999% of the time this expectation isn’t met.

Why?

Because feeling and being at our absolute best doesn’t come easy.

Losing weight isn’t easy to do.

Leaning up isn’t easy to do.

Getting a flat stomach isn’t easy to.

Improving confidence isn’t easy to.

Training for a marathon isn’t easy to.

Are these all possible?

Heck yes!

Are any of these easy to achieve?

Heck no!

When you’re told it’ll be easy if you just follow this simple solution that I’ve come up with that works and that’ll get you there in no time… you’re being set up to fail.

How?

With false expectations.

And I don’t mean just failing this one time.

It can and does mess with you for months, years, it not longer.

I’m not trying to be dramatic here either, I’m being honest.

The Negative Effects Of False Expectations

When you and I buy into false expectations, simple solutions that will get us to our goal faster & easier, and then it doesn’t happen, it’s very bad news.

Here’s the conversation that then happens in our heads…

“See, why did I even bother. I knew this wouldn’t work for me, it never works, nothing will work.”

What do you think the chances are that this person will try again?

Slim to none.

More than ever there is so much noise, so much BS out there vying for your attention, your business, your dollars.

People, products, companies.

Yes, this ticks me off.

Now more than ever, it’s important that you take care of you.

And if that’s a challenge for you as it is for many, find the right people, the right support and accountability system that cares about you and is committed to looking out for you.

Entrepreneur Fitness Academy kicked off Monday with one commitment and one commitment only…

To care for and serve its members.

To tell them the truth, what’s expected of them, what they can expect, and the hard work, energy, and effort it will require of them to achieve their goals, to feel their best.

Does this message sell? I don’t care.

Is it the truth? 100%

I’m interested in getting YOU results, that’s what matters.

If I lie to you, get paid, and you don’t see results – I’m a loser.

I’ll always tell it to you straight because I’m not a loser and never will be.

What’s required, what it takes, what you can expect.

It may not be what you want to hear or what sells…

But it’ll always be the truth and what will get you results.

Thanks for being here.

Mike
