Use Your iPod To Keep You Motivated

It’s a New Year, a fresh start and we all have a clean slate. We’ve all made our resolutions and are more motivated than ever to make them happen. I know I’ve made mine and am determined to make them happen. This year I want to get leaner and increase my muscle mass. I don’t want just average six pack abs, I want six pack abs that could make the cover of Men’s Health Magazine or GQ Magazine. Ambitious, definitely. Possible, no question. We all make ambitious resolutions and goals which I think is awesome, think big. The question is, how do we stay motivated and pumped up about our resolutions and what we’re out to achieve?

I know we’re all different in terms of what motivates us, what makes us tick, what gets us fired up. For me it’s music and inspirational messages. I recently had a buddy of mine send me a video link. I seriously watched and listened to it like 8 times in a row because of how fired up and motivated it was getting me. The cool thing was it was a video with great messaging and with music as well. At this moment a light bulb went off in my head…. why don’t I have this on my iPod? Needless to say I downloaded the video onto my iPod and it’s definitely added an extra gear, more fire, more motivation for me when I’m in the gym working hard, focused on what I’ve committed to this year.

Maybe music and inspirational messages get you fired up and motivated as well. If they do, I have provided a few that I have on my iPod and listen to during my workouts. Check them out below.

I know these are all YouTube videos although you can have them converted to an MP3 file and saved to your iTunes account so that you can then add them to your iPod. It’s quite easy. Here’s the program I use to do it and it’s free.

If you have any questions or need help setting it up, send me a message and I’ll be more than happy to walk you though it and help you get set up. Whatever it takes to keep you motivated and focused on what you’re out to accomplish this year.
