No Need To Worry About How Long It’ll Take To Reach Your Goals, The Time Will Pass Anyways… (Whether You Go For It Or Not)

Time seems to always fly on by when I’m either traveling, having lots of fun, or both.

I’m guessing you may be able to relate.

It also got me thinking about the following…

As quickly as time seems to pass sometimes, it passes as quickly as it always does.

No faster, no slower…. it may seem faster, but it passed at the same rate as it always does.


Regardless Of What I’m Doing, Time Will Pass Just The Same

When I think about some of the goals I have that I know will take time to achieve, it’s easy to get discouraged thinking that it’s going to take a year, two, five, or more to get there.

Regardless of how long it’ll take to reach a goal, the time is going to pass anyways.

Question is… are we any closer to our goals than we were one, two, five, or ten years ago?

Are you any closer to your goals today than you were when the year started?

I say let’s be honest with ourselves too if we’re not closer because coming up with all different reasons and excuses as to why we’re not won’t do us any justice and will move us further away from our goals.


Regardless Of The Goal, We’re Not Going To Get There Overnight

We’ll also never get there if we don’t take consistent daily action towards our goals.

Consistent daily action… that’s what it’s all about.

We all know who won the race between the tortoise and the hare right?

The speed at which we act matters too of course although what matters most, is consistent action.

I have a client who could not imagine being 50 pounds lighter when we first started as well as how long it was going to take to get there.

We’re now 20 pounds away from that goal and we WILL get there this year.

I have another client who earlier this year couldn’t imagine being able to complete a 5K race and run the entire race thinking of the time it would take to get to that point.

That 5K race is happening next month and she’s more than ready.


The Time Is Sure To Pass, Question Is…. What Are We Doing With Our Time?

I was (and still am) overwhelmed with The Wellness Bucket and all I want to do and create for it, although it blows me away thinking about where it is today compared to where it was two years ago.

From a simple blog, to now a full scale global community and services ranging from Wellness Coaching, Weight Loss Workshops, FitCamps, 30 Day Global Wellness Challenges, and more.

Two years ago it was all too much to comprehend and imagine it all possible.

My vision for The Wellness Bucket for years to come is big, very big, and it’s hard sometimes to even imagine how I’ll get there but I know… 


The Time Is Going To Pass Anyways

All we can do is focus on what we’re doing with our time.

We may not be able to control the speed at which is passes, but we can control what we do with our time.

“It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It’s what we do consistently.”

Tomorrow always arrives sooner than we think.

Let’s focus on what we’re doing today and everyday so that when tomorrow arrives, we’re right where we want to be because of what we did yesterday for the months and years prior.
