Here’s the truth. You don’t need any of these to be successful.

There’s a few communities and courses that are worth the investment such as this one and this one, but they aren’t necessary for you to be successful.

What you need, more than anything, is to believe in yourself first.

You must believe you are capable and worthy of success, which you are, and begin taking action, small steps that will eventually lead you to bigger steps.

Sense of Belonging Doesn’t Equal Results

The feeling of belonging, being a part of something, whether it’s a group, team, or association, is a fundamental human need we all share.

We all crave to belong.

It’s this same craving that people, courses, and organizations exploit and use to their advantage, telling you that the only way to succeed is to join them, to buy what they’re selling, or be left out.

It’s important to understand that belonging to an organization or group, or taking part in a course, doesn’t guarantee you results. A money back guarantee is one thing, but a results guarantee? Don’t count on it.

Fancy courses, slick slides, and urgent emails all designed to play into your need for belonging. Once inside, a sea of material, often overwhelming, along with self-guided checklists and workbooks, is sure to get you more confused and frustrated than when you first started.

You’re in, you belong, now what?

Take Simple Action

Weight Loss

You don’t need a gym membership, fancy exercise equipment, or designer gear. You don’t need to join a running club or Crossfit to lose weight. Eat small healthy meals (fruits, veggies, lean meats, lots of water) 5-6 times a day and exercise daily. Here’s a good starting point.

Yes you need to be committed and consistent. Yes you need accountability. Partner up with a friend, family member, or spouse to keep you accountable.

It’s not going to happen in 30/60/90 days. It took longer than that to put it on, don’t expect it to come off any quicker. No other information, book, course, or video will help speed up this process.

Make More Money

You don’t need to spend $1K dollars for an online course to teach you how to make more money in less time.

You want to make more money, stop spending your money. Know where you’re money is going. Write down every penny you spend in the course of a week. You’ll soon see where the opportunities are to save money.

You don’t need that daily cup of Starbucks coffee, make coffee at home. You don’t need to buy a round of drinks for all your friends at the bar. You don’t need those new pair of shoes or shirt just because it’s on sale.

Know where your money is going, create a budget for yourself, and stick to it. I just saved you $1K dollars.

Start A Business

When I first started The Wellness Bucket, I didn’t have a clue how the world of online business and communities worked.

I created this site by reading a book on how to work with WordPress and watching a free YouTube video on how to create a blog. I didn’t pay hundreds of dollars for a fancy web design or sign up for an exclusive course to teach me how start making money immediately online. That’s not why I created The Wellness Bucket.

By mentioning the work I’m doing to friends and family, I’ve been referred to wonderful people who have helped me tremendously along the way, providing me with services at no cost. Not only have they helped and supported me with their services, they’ve also given me that genuine sense of belonging we all seek, at no cost.

“You Don’t Have To Be Great To Start, But You Must Start In Order To Be Great.”

There will always be lots to learn. You don’t need to know everything to begin taking action.

You don’t need to know every single exercise to begin exercising. Begin with the ones you know.

You don’t need to spend $1K on an online course to learn how to make money. Start with a savings account.

You don’t need a full business plan or investors to start a business. Start small right out of your own home.

You don’t need to spend money on a course, video, book, or fancy webinar for a sense of belonging.

Your sense of belonging at The Wellness Bucket is and will always be free.

Believe

Whatever it is you’re creating, building, writing, or starting – believe in it. Think of it often, talk about it, work on it. Make it your world. It’s here, that success begins.

If you don’t have a support system, people who believe in you and tell you you’re awesome and can do it or if you feel alone and need that sense of belonging, that sense of community, family and support that you’re not getting anywhere else. You’ll always be welcomed, supported, and believed in here at The Wellness Bucket.

You don’t have to pay to be here and to belong, you just have to be you.

I believe in you. We all believe in you.

Believe in yourself.

  • I definitely needed to hear this again. I’m someone that needs to know all the details before I get started, but I realized not too long ago that I was wasting money on expensive training and getting sucked into it rather than taking action.

So it’s time for me to start taking action. Thanks!

    • Thanks for your comment and for being here Sam. Good news is, you’re not alone, most of us are the same way where we need to know all the details before getting started, usually just another procrastination tactic disguised as strategy. Take action, do your thing, believe in yourself, you’re ready now….Go! 🙂

  • Thank you for creating this community! It is very motivating to be reminded that we just need to start! We all have “to-do” lists – and that is what I will be working on this week – checking things off!

  • Hi, very well explained, this post is really very motivating and helpful. Learning is a continuous process, believing in oneself is an important factor in order for us to succeed. Thanks for sharing.

    • Thanks for being here Lynne and for you comment. I’m happy to hear you found this post helpful. Learning is definitely contagious and important. What’s more important is believing in ourselves enough to action and begin putting to work all that we’ve learned. You’re awesome and thanks again for being here… Cheers!
